Water extraction & removal
Every litre removed mechanically is a litre the drying equipment never has to evaporate, so extraction comes first and comes hard. Truck-mounted or portable units pull standing water off slabs, out of carpet and underlay, while cavities and subfloors are opened wherever water is trapped out of sight.

Timing
When it's needed
Any event leaving visible water or soaked soft flooring calls for extraction on the same visit it is found. One boundary worth naming: restoration begins after the source is under control. Hunting for a concealed pipe failure is leak-detection work, a separate discipline with different instruments. This service deals with water that has already escaped and everything it touched.
Water and electricity share the same walls. Do not wade into flooded rooms while power is on, treat sagging wet ceilings as ready to fall, and avoid direct contact with floodwater or anything sewage-affected, assume contamination until the water has been classified.
